When in Rome...

We just finished touring our second straight day in Rome. What an amazing and ancient city. In the past two days, we have seen and experienced much.
We went inside the Coliseum.


















We toured the ancient Forum and its remaining structures.

We saw the Scala Santa (chck that out on Wikipedia).

















We went to the Vatican, entered St. Peter's Basillica and went to the top for a great view.

We each threw a coin in Trevi Fountain as well.



And we drove back home on a double-decker bus with our Irish friend, Finnegan.

And now we are enjoying our air-conditioned room.
