First day of Italy

We finally got to Italy on Tuesday night after saying good-bye to Austria. We arrived in Verona where I'm told Opera got its origin. I'm not a big opera guy; but the outside performance, in a nearly 2,000 year old arena was a good experience.

Lastly, a picture from the Opera - Aida. (We sat down on the hard rock bleachers at 7:15pm, Opera ended at 12:45am).

Again, a very restful and enjoyable day.
